Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 c. Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 c. (2 Sticks) Butter
1/4 c. Sugar
3/4 c. Brown Sugar
1 pkg. (4 serving size) Instant Vanilla Pudding
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 pkg. (12 oz.) Semisweet Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small mixing bowl, combine four and baking soda. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, pudding mix, and vanilla. Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture. Fold in chocolate chips. Batter will be stiff but not crumbly. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. (I like to use a cookie scoop) Wet hands and lightly press cookie balls down. Do not completely flatten! Place in preheated oven and bake until lightly golden around the bottom edge of cookies. ( If you like a softer, doughy cookie, maybe 3-5 minutes. If you like a crispier cookie, maybe around 5-8 minutes.) Remove from oven and leave on cookie sheet 2-5 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet to eat warm or to finish cooling. Mine barely make it out of the oven before they are devoured by the family! Enjoy!
Makes 4 dozen small or 2 1/2 dozen large cookies.
